Significant among bicycle designs on several levels, this bicycle was produced out of New York State, primarily based on a marketing scheme. This is the first use of the clincher style tire on a bicycle, 26x2 1/4 known as the balloon tire that remained popular until the mid-fiftys when the slimmer, 1" racing tires came into vogue. This bicycle, produced during the depression was intended to give kids the feeling of riding a motorcycle. Became known as the moto-bike because of the clincher tires, straight bar design, E A Horn used on motorcycles, motorcycle saddle, swoop back handle bar with attached crash bar which came with several accessories, motorcycle rear luggage rack. This particular model includes an extremely rare Model A Gena-lite, which produced 6 volts of electricity to the rear wheel, capable of igniting the tail light as well as sounding the horn and a period correct front wheel bell. This bicycle also came equipped with a tire pump. The "Monkey Grip" patch kit became available at service stations.
