Rare to have work being done with aluminum during the thirties, this bicycle utilizes a cutting edge technology. However, something else cutting edge in the world was the introduction on the elongated pantaloon in Paris, France and the wearing of pants by American women, Katherine Hepburn leading the way. This bicycle comes equipped with one of the last skirt guards made specifically to keep women's skirts out of the spokes. Also, special to this bicycle is the hockey stick chain guard.
